A little know-how before you go.

We recommend arranging your event at least 10–14 days ahead, especially for weekends and school holidays. Last-minute enquiries are welcome, subject to availability. Submit a booking enquiry or call Talk to the team: 0844 477 5024; an enquiry alone does not reserve your places.

Contact the booking team as soon as possible if you need to change your date. A move depends on availability and the terms of your original booking, including the payment channel. The team must confirm the new date; sending a request does not change the booking automatically.

Small groups are welcome and may be joined with other players to form teams. Availability, staffing and minimum-spend requirements can vary, particularly for midweek events. Send your preferred date, location and group size through our booking enquiry. If you want exclusive play, ask the team about private-game arrangements.

Standard national paintball sessions are generally for ages 10 and over. Horizon Paintball also advertises Miniball for ages 7–10, using junior-friendly equipment. These are different activities: confirm the youngest player’s age, the selected venue’s eligibility and any adult-chaperone requirements before booking. Local venues may have different age limits.

Private games must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability. At national venues, groups of 50 or more may qualify for a private game; smaller groups may be able to arrange one for an additional charge. call Talk to the team: 0844 477 5024 to confirm the threshold, staffing and any charge for your chosen venue.

Contact the booking team promptly if you need to cancel. Confirmed customer-cancelled bookings are generally non-refundable under the published terms, but the applicable conditions and statutory rights still apply. Ask the team about any permitted credit, date change or exception for your booking; operator cancellations should be handled separately.

Use the arrival time in your booking confirmation so you do not miss registration or the safety briefing. If you are delayed, contact the booking team promptly. Staff will explain whether you can join safely; late arrival can reduce your playing time and entry is not guaranteed.

Paintball is booked as a separate morning or afternoon event, normally lasting around three hours. Summer sessions commonly run 10am–1pm or 2pm–5pm; winter sessions commonly run 9am–12:15pm or 12:30pm–3:45pm. A booking covers one session, not both. Complete registration before arrival and use the exact times in your booking confirmation; local venues and Miniball can vary.

Contact the booking team as soon as you know your numbers have changed. A missing player’s paintball allocation cannot automatically be shared with the rest of the group. Refund, date-change and future-credit arrangements depend on the terms and payment channel used for your booking. Check your confirmation and the applicable booking terms before assuming a credit is available.

Complete the registration forms supplied with your booking before arrival wherever online registration is available. A parent or guardian must provide the required consent for players under 16. Share the instructions with the whole group; if you have not received them, contact the booking team. Any different local-venue process will be confirmed with your booking.

Sessions normally continue in rain, so bring suitable outdoor clothing, grippy footwear and a spare change of clothes. Staff may postpone or stop play if conditions are unsafe. If the operator changes your event, contact the booking team for the arrangements that apply to your booking; do not assume a particular refund or credit without checking the terms.

Paintball use varies with playing style and the number of games. There is no compulsory consumption target. Check how many paintballs your selected package includes, budget for any extras you want and buy additional paintballs from the venue during breaks. Horizon’s published additional-paintball rates are £9.99 per 100, £7.99 per 100 when buying 1,000, or £4.99 for 50. Check the applicable rate and availability with the team for your event.

Personal equipment is subject to the Centre Manager’s approval. Goggles must be designed for paintball, unmodified and in suitable condition. A personal marker may only be considered for an arranged private game, must be compatible with the venue’s supplied gas equipment and must pass the required checks. Do not bring your own gas cylinders or external paintballs.

Wear old, comfortable clothes and closed-toe footwear with good grip. Boots with ankle support are recommended for uneven woodland; wellington boots generally provide less ankle support. Bring spare clothes and a towel for the journey home, plus water and any refreshments you need. Optional gloves and extras depend on the venue and your package.

Extra paintballs, snacks, drinks and optional equipment may be available at the venue shop. Pyrotechnics are restricted to adults aged 18 and over and depend on venue rules. Check Horizon Paintball prices and packages for this campaign’s published extras. Bring a suitable payment method; cash, cards and contactless facilities vary by venue. Cheques are not accepted.

Optional combat-suit/body-armour hire is advertised at £2 per person where it is not already included in your booked package. Ask the team which protective items your package includes before paying for extras.

Only paintballs issued by the selected centre for your event may be used. Do not bring external paintballs or return with paintballs taken away from a previous visit. Ask the venue team about any arrangements for unused paintballs.

Bring a packed lunch and enough water for your session. Snacks and cold drinks may be available to buy at the venue shop, and you can eat in the designated base-camp areas. Do not assume hot food, catering or free drinks will be provided; ask the booking team about your selected venue before travelling.

Where the venue offers the advertised Horizon catering options, the published prices are £5.49 for a personal pizza and £2.49 for a light lunch. Confirm availability before booking; these options are not guaranteed at every centre.

Alcohol is not permitted at the centre. Players must arrive sober and follow the venue’s safety rules. Anyone impaired by alcohol or drugs may be refused entry or excluded from play.

Lockers may be available to hire for valuables at national venues. Ask the shop team about availability and charges when you arrive, and check local-venue facilities before travelling. Avoid bringing unnecessary valuables.

Marshals aim to balance teams by age, group size and experience. Standard sessions may include parents, older siblings and other mixed-age groups. Miniball is a separate activity for younger children with age-appropriate equipment and supervision. Confirm the arrangements for your selected session with the booking team.

Paintball impacts can sting and cause bruising. Follow the safety briefing, wear the required protective equipment and keep your goggles on wherever the marshals require it.
